Accommodations

Sonoma Mountain Zen Center is located high on Sonoma Mountain, on eighty acres of secluded and serene oak woodland and redwood forest overlooking the Valley of the Moon. The center's handcrafted buildings are constructed from recycled materials taken from old barns in the area. Over the past few years, the Temple has constructed several new buildings including a Japanese inspired bathhouse, residential quarters with private guest suites and a stunning community building with shared rooms for housing guest. The Temple supports an intimate community with a small residential program and a larger membership that joins in practice. We engage in an authentic Zen tradition through daily practice, retreats, group retreats, special events, and solo hermitages.

Overnight packages start at $110/night per person and include meals, coffee & tea (minimum of 10 guests required).
