We are now in the middle of our construction process and at the beginning of the second phase of the Mandala Project. This includes building a new kitchen and administration building called the Wisteria House, constructing our Sanmon (temple gate), and finalizing the project with Monjusri Zendo, our new meditation hall. Our new meditation hall, the Monjusri Hall, will be constructed as the final part of the Sonoma Mandala Project.

Passing through the gate marks the beginning of our campaign for the new kitchen and administration building, the Wisteria House. The Wisteria House will include a lounge, office, library, and a kitchen with enough room for fifty people to sit and gather. ​The construction of these buildings will bring Sonoma Mountain Zen Center into compliance with the county’s new codes.
