Saturday Community (Talk by Tom 'Jakuryu' Huffman) - ON SITE (in Zendo)

This Saturday Community coincides with a special Kids & Youth Community event. During lunch, enjoy drawings by kids and participate in kids tile signing. (Everyone is welcome to sign the tiles.)

Talk will be given by Tom Jakuryu (寂龍) Huffman, a student of Kwong-roshi, following 10:30 am zazen.

Tom Jakuryu Huffman, Silent Dragon, has been a student of Jakusho Kwong-roshi since 2008 and received the precepts from him in 2012. Since that time, he has worked as a Land Steward at Genjo Ji where the 81 sacred acres of mountains, meadows and redwood-lined creeks have stewarded him.

Over the course of his career, he worked as a medical photographer, as an alpha member and caretaker of a large pack of hand-raised gray wolves.
