Saturday Community (Talk by Ron Berger) - ON SITE (in Zendo)

Talk will be given by Ron Berger, following 10:30 am zazen.

Ron began life in 1950 in New York City. 24 years later he sat his first dai-sesshin at Mt. Baldy Zen Center. Being a student of Joshu Sasaki Roshi for the next 25 years, he had sat so many sesshins he doesn't remember how many and had many experiences including several satori events. Ron left the zen center in 2001 to be married and raise a son in Hollywood. Marriage having ended, and he returned to Rinzai Zen Center in 2021, where he was put in charge of the zendo.  In Dec 2023 he moved to Sonoma County and became a member of SMZC - Genjoji and is now learning the ways of Soto Zen. Currently living in Sebastopol, Ron supports himself by being a professional Vedic Astrologer.
