In the spirit of together-action, come help breathe new energy into the center with friends and families of the Sonoma Mountain Sangha. Bring a pair of work gloves if you have them. Vegetarian lunch will be provided afterwards. RSVP to offer your hands of compassion!

SMZC is under heavy construction. Our usual Summer Ango retreat was held in September this year to accommodate unexpected changes in the construction schedules of these projects. Usually we are able to use our Ango period and September to process the firewood SMZC needs to make it through the winter, minimizing our reliance on costly electrical and gas heating. Unfortunately, we were not able to focus on this annual activity sufficiently to meet the heating needs of SMZC yet this year.
For those who are physically able to help with moving and stacking split firewood, that will be the priority for this Fall 2026 Workfest. For those in need of lighter-duty work, we will also be giving the Zendo a good thorough cleaning, which will also work well if the weather is unsuitable for working outdoors.
