Saturday Community (Talk by Margaret 'Saiten' Tighe) - ONLINE (on Zoom)

Talk will be given by Margaret Saiten (西天) Tighe, a student of Kwong-roshi, following 10:30-11:00 am zazen.

Margaret Saiten Tighe has been a member of SMZC since 2014 and took Jukai vows in 2018. She previously practiced and studied with V Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche in Boulder ,CO from 1974 until his paranirvana in 1987. After moving to San Francisco, she was a member of SF Shambhala Center and did many retreats at SMZC. Over many years Kwong-roshi continues to be an invaluable guide to her practice and the SMZC sangha, and its space is a great support fostering dharma practice. She currently lives in Petaluma and is Grandma to seven grandchildren.
