About This Event
Join us for a daylong retreat in the Soto Zen tradition, with seven periods of zazen, kinhin, a Dharma talk, and lunch. Suggested donation of $20. All are welcome to join, but registration is required. Attendees are required to participate in the entire schedule for the day.
Nyoze Kwong is Traveling to the Pacific Northwest
During the third week of April, Nyoze will be traveling to the Pacific Northwest to lead a one-day zazen retreat with SMZC's affiliate sitting group, South Sound Zen on Saturday, April 18. The retreat will be held in the Tacoma Buddhist Temple in Tacoma, Washington, where Nyoze has also been invited to give a talk on Sunday morning, April 19. The Tacoma Buddhist Temple is in the Jodo Shinshu (Pureland) tradition and has deep roots in the City of Tacoma beginning as early as 1915, with the original temple completed in 1931.
